Golf solitaire
Golf solitaire: Golf is a race against a single pass through the deck: clear seven face-up columns onto one waste pile by playing cards exactly one rank up or one rank down, and flip a new card from the stock when nothing fits. Aces and Kings do not wrap around.

How to play
- Play any exposed card onto the waste when it is one rank above or below the top card; empty all seven columns.
- Seven columns of five cards are dealt face up; the stock holds the rest and turns one card at a time onto the waste.
- A column card may be played onto the waste when its rank is exactly one above or one below the waste card; Ace connects only to Two, King only to Queen.
- The stock is dealt once with no redeals. You win by clearing all seven columns.

Calm strategy
- Plan runs, not single plays: a 5 can carry 6-7-8 in one chain if you look two moves ahead.
- Prefer plays that free tall columns — an even board keeps more chains alive.
- Save the stock: every flip you avoid is one more chance to finish the last columns.
